The APB Foundation Signature Art Prize 2008, Singapore was held on 11th July. Indian artist Iranna GR’s work titled ‘Wounded Tools’ is one of the ten finalist works. Now Iranna is eligible to win one of the following awards on 14th October: the Grand Prize (SGD $45,000), one of three Juror’s Prizes (SGD$10,000), and/or the People’s Choice Award (SGD $10,000). You may vote for Iranna GR to win the prize.

Ghost Opening at the Aicon Gallery, London

Bose Krishnamachari’s latest solo project ‘Ghost’ opened at the Aicon Gallery, London, on 9th July 2008. The hugely attended opening had most of the important personalities present. Besides, artists, critics, curators and friends from India flew in to attend the opening. The show had six portraits, one photographic installation and one multimedia installation. Besides, in the lower ground of the gallery Bose exhibited the model of a museum in order to generate a discourse on dream museums. A catalogue was also published during the show.
